If your currency is offered on Steam, then it should be the default currency in store as long as your country settings are set for where you really are.

Are you sure your currency is used by Steam? If not, it defaults to dollars.
Is your store country set to where you live?

You can change your store region but have to make one successful transaction with that respective country's local payment method

According to that page, Steam's Pakistan store page uses USD, not the Pakistani rupee. That means that buying something will not change your currency to your local one. You can only purchase games in USD.
