If I go offline, will my Family-share friend still receive the notification when I stop playing a game?

I have a family-share with a friend, whenever I leave a game he will receive something like "Hooray! The library is now available". If I go Offline (aka sign out of friends), will he still receive that message?

No idea. I doubt it as you'll still be online as far as Steam is concerned so they won't have access to a game if you're currently playing it. Regardless of your friends status.

Signing out of the friends network is not the same as going to offline mode with Steam when it comes to that message.
