Switch Pro controller triggers not working
My controller's triggers will work for a split second, then not work at all when in-game. I know that they work when used on the actual Switch, but not on my PC. Any idea how to fix this?

Link the binding you use? save it as a personal binding and then paste the link in here.

You might just need to remap the triggers in the binding for the game you're playing, this happens since the triggers are digital and most games expect them to be analog.
I noticed this happening when then throttle and break was real weird in Rocket League, I changed them to digital or something and it worked.

If you don't know what any of this means then look into this: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/steam_controller/getting_started_for_players

steam://controllerconfig/253230/1509591813

I am using this configuration, so basically the basic set-up. I know that everything is bound properly, the left and right triggers are the issue. They will only work for a split second.

This is mine for rocket league: steam://controllerconfig/253230/1509591813
I thought I changed it so it worked.. I can't find any difference though..

I will try RL again with the controller, you try fiddling with the trigger settings yourself.

I got it working. What I did was turn analog off, and set both the full and soft pull actions to activate with each trigger. No idea which part fixed it, but it works. Thanks for the help!

I was having the same exact issue until I did what you did. Now my stardew and MHW triggers are fixed.

Hey I had the same issue however my buttons already were set to Analog Off, I fixed it by changing my buttons to other in-game buttons and then set both soft pull and hard pull to the same action, afterwards was able to play, Just wanted to post it here since it seems this post has been used as reference a couple times.
This issue was for Rocket League where Throttles didn't work however all other buttons did.
