I3 6100 or pentium g4560 ?

Well im looking for a cpu as my old one died.
Which one will be good for csgo(considering m strictly tight on budget) i3 6100 or g4560
I have a gtx 1050ti
And a h170 series motherboard.
8gb ram

Well the i3 6100 is faster, but maybe 5% faster then the G4560 at best, they are nearly identical, But you will be paying for for the i3 typiclly.

Depending on what Motherboard you have, you may have to do a bios update before the Kaby Lake G4560 will work.

Find a used i5 6400/7400 instead.
4 cores > 2 cores 4 threads.

Unless you can't spare that much extra.

In most games they perform absolutly the same while a G4560 did cost between 1/2 to 1/3 of the price at its time. However note, that G4560 does not support AVX. If you also want to look into Assassins Creed Odyssey, you wont be able to play it with that CPU.

Not that it would run well even if it had AVX support. Assassin's Creed Odyssey really hungers for quadcore CPU performance.
