Steam manifest unavailable Error / Bug
So I recently moved countries and I just plugged in my PC hoping to play some games. As expected I get greeted with updates to some of my games, I try to update them but none of them update and when trying to open the game it keeps giving me a pop up saying 'Manifest unavailable" with some line under it with depot and some random numbers.

The weird thing is, the game I'm trying to play is Hotline Miami 2/Hotline Miami 1 and the games never really had to get any updates/shouldn't get any updates. I've tried everything I could to solve this but nothing works, I went through all the download regions, flushed dns, re-installed steam, reset my internet settings and reset router settings. Installing games doesn't work either and gives same error. The only games I can play are CSGO (but in offline mode) and it kicks me after around 30-40 seconds of playing due to no user logon.

Anyone knows a fix to this? I've been trying to play some games but sadly can't.

My pc specs if they are even relevant to this:

AMD Ryzen 1600x

GTX 1060 3gb

Kingston Fury 8GB 2400 RAM

windows 7 (Yes I'm still on this old os, everything suprisingly works fine)

Well I’m not sure what to tell you other than try to contact a Steam Support worker and see if they can shine some light on your situation, just go to support, click games, click hotline Miami, and then type out your reason of contacting steam support and state the problem. They should get back to you within 24 hours and eventually they’ll probably either tell you how to fix it or refund them so you can buy them again and get a newer file
