ARMA 3 Contact DLC Download Issue

I purchased Contact yesterday but can't seem to figure out how to get it downloaded. What am I missing?

Most DLC is already a part of the game and doesnt require an additional download.

What is needed many times is a restart of Steam, so that the DLC is "read" in your library and activated.

Try restarting Steam and launching the game.

Well I have logged out and logged back into Steam. Is that what you mean?

Open the game properties and go to the DLC tab, untick and then retick the DLC. Hopefully that helps.

I am 100% sure I purchased it. I received an email with a Purchase Confirmation and a Steam Key.

Does it say you own it on the store page? It not showing up in your DLC list implies you do not own it... Or somethings broken in which steam support may be required.

Just to check; are you sure you are logged in to the correct account?

The last time you bought a game with this account was in 2009 - the day you made the account.

You haven't bought any other base games since then?

I have an account with Bohemia Interactive. I logged in using my email address and password. I seemed to know my Steam account name. it says I on it on Bohemia but not on Steam or in the game.

Where exactly did you buy this DLC from?

You mentioned you got a key in some email.... Steam will not give you a key in any email... it will automatically be linked to your account if you bought it on steam..

If you did not buy it on steam and you got a key then you need to activate that key on steam if it is a steam key.

I followed the purchase link on steam to the Bohemia Interactive website and purchased it there.

Oh ok. Have you activated it on steam yet with that steam key you mentioned?

In one of the dropdowns top left, there will be a option called "Activate a product on steam". Click it. Then copy that key you got in that email and stick it in there. If it is a steam key then it will register the DLC to your account.
