An error occurred while updating *game* (no internet connection)
Everytime I download to install a game it says

"An error occurred while updating *game* (no internet connection)

Never had this problem before. My internet is fine, the games I already have in steam works fine and online play is also fine. It's only when downloading them I'm having problems with
I have tried:
1. changing download regions
2. clearing download cache
3. disable my firewall
4. uninstalling and re-installing Steam.

When I did no. 4, I accidentally also uninstalled my games on my C: drive, so now I have to download those again but it still gives me the error I mentioned above.

And then sometimes, when the downloading works, it downloads in less than 1 kilobyte speed (966 bytes, 530 bytes, etc), and sometimes stops, while my service is 50mbps. All other internet activity is fine as is.

I need help!

Hiya... Same problem here. Installing old games or new, they get to about 99% then stop and will not finish. This started about 2 months ago. I have done all the 'fixes' listed on the Steam help page but no joy!!!!
Hey STEAM!!!! Please fix this!!!!!!!!
