Fully disable controller detection
I would like to know if there is a way to fully make Steam unable to see all/some of my controllers plugged in to my PC? I have a set of generic pads (aside from a Steam controller) and it really messes everything every time I launch a game. I rather not unplug the controller every time and I am sure I won't be using these controllers in Steam. Therefore, is there a way to avoid Steam from ever seeing these controllers?

Thanks

There is the option for steam to "hide device" your controller and as far as I know it seems to stop the gamepad from getting input from steam. You should find it in general controller settings.

Oh, really nice. Thanks for that. I have a bug where the general controller options appear dislodged from the window and I missed that option. Just saw it.
