Looking for help/advice with overclocking GTX 1070 8GB i7700HQ in laptop

Hello everyone :)
I have a question; tell me if any of you own this particular laptop or can help me when it comes to overclocking the graphics card? the laptop is practically all the time under the cable, I rarely unplug it ; Asus ROG STRIX GL502VS i7700HQ, GTX 1070 8GB, 16GB RAM
Specifically I'm talking about overclocking the graphics card in msi afterburner and does anyone know of any specific stable increases when it comes to graphics performance?
For example; I fired up Hell Let Loose and it was only playable on all the lowest graphics settings, I only left the Full HD option and still only had 60fps which was dropping anyway and yes I have all the drivers up to date quietly

1 Full performance in power scematic, my friends laptop dont even had other plan then balance mode.

you even sure that laptop has Nvidia as primary selected card in Nvidia controll panel.
if this is Intel HD , that will explan alot.

all i can tell it look like user own faulth, if graphics is on lowest, yes i know its sounds hard or rough at you, but if you can get it , that most game should run alot better then lowest setting,

besure as you said powercord is on, and wall plug is turn on, i have even seen lapto supply with no green light indicator that its on. ( this will be seen as battry mode and then your game will suffer from it in performance, im sure its not that in your case, but many laptop owner has learn this and we dont mentions this. looks like we are stupid then its more a mistake and can happend to all.

so dont tke this the wrong way , i have drive in a company car 50km just to turn on hardware because end customer did not know. im sure you cant beat that mistake. and know no matter what mistake you did will be nothing compare to that.

Well when it comes to overglocking you can push your card to the limits but if you want safe overglocking which i also reccomend is messing with Core clock (MHz) and memory clock (MHz).DO NOT TRY RANDOM NUMBERS. the way you should do it is run a benchmark for your game and then have msi after burner in the backround.After that slowly increase both Core clock and memory clock by a bit (lets say for example +20 memory clock and +10 core clock), apply the settings and watch for about 20 seconds if there are any problems with the benchmark (if you overglock too much you will be able to see some kind of visual glitches in the benchmark).If nothing happens then repeat again until you find the optimal ammount.also make sure to keep a look at your temperature especially since you have a laptop.Technically graphics cards can withstand high temperatures but in case it goes too high because of the overglocking It would be better to just reduce it.That kind of overglocking might not make that huge of a difference but still it will improve the permofance and it is also pretty safe
