steam support
Why is steam support more like Trash support, it takes many attempts for them to answer the question your asking, and sends you to faulty game supports. They don't check to make sure that the support will respond to your inquiries. I'm sure that this post will be taken down even though they told me this is were I should put this post

steam support handles account and billing issues. they do not provide support for game issues.

if you have having trouble with a game, take it up with that games support. you can also ask for assistance in that games forum and someone may know a solution. if you are complaining about game bugs, make a bug report in that games forum (many have a subforum set up just for bug reports)

They wouldn't tell you to come here just to complain about them. They want you to come here to solve the issue you have because it's most likely one they can't. So what exactly are you asking of them to solve?

If you actually want HELP, then please tell us exactly the issue you're having.

If you've actually been in contact with Support and they told you to come here: they cannot ever help with whatever thing you were experiencing. It might be because it's a game-specific problem that isn't something they can solve. It might be due to user-sided or internet problems that are beyond their scope of influence.

Please be specific about what is happening, when it happens, and what you've done to fix your issue. Chances are very likely that it's something that either can be fixed with some help here, or help online.

wow, people ask what you need help with and you only want to complain instead of getting help.

if support cannot assist you, then they cannot assist you. it is not their job to tell you where to get help, they only need to provide general directions - try that games forum/website for assistance, check the self help articles on steam, etc.

did you have a question or issue you need help with or did you just want to rant? if you want help, you need to provide some information about the issue. if you want to complain about support not being able to help you with an issue they cannot help you with, then you need to move on.

well I agree. I got banned on a Gamehub by a Steam Support Member, not sure why.

So I wrote a Ticket asked to why I got banned and that the Rules don't prohibit anything I said. And if they did, what exactly in my post was against the Rules so I could learn to baby speak even more.
Also I asked why I got the duration for the Ban and other questions.

Answer to that? the usual nonsense copy/paste. Ignoring any questions and everything in general.

anyway, I replied with the same questions. Yea let me look at the Rules I already did like I stated in my ticket in the first place and even then I don't know why the decision was made..

Again what part of my "Content" was not suitable for all users? I still don't know, I still don't know why I got duration X, I know nothing.
No answers to any questions or even acknowledging me at all.

you can ask me all you want.. asking someone to do something.. well its just that. Also what you mean with "or"? shouldn't you know why you banned me?


example:
well maybe you murdered someone or you just stole Toiletpaper, we put you in jail but we actually don't know which of those you commited if at all..

Yeah, I just got a warning for not having kid gloves/baby speak because I told someone they could've easily searched for their answer. Apparently that's "baiting" and trying to start an argument, despite the relevant information response being present. I also know who reported me. Edit: I was a little not nice about it, call it brutally honest, but it was valid and the information was clearly there - but hey why bother reading or getting full context.

Support largely doesn't bother with context, they want to you have kid gloves.

CTRL+C, CTRL+V is much easier. If you want answers on anything, it's best to ask users, there are things we can't help you with overall, things we can suggest to you, etc. If it's something we can answer by all means ask here, you'll likely get relevant responses. But since it's a ban we can't really do much other than take a peek at your post history, see if you actually did/say something actually wrong (not perceived as such by a mod or support) or otherwise.

Also despite being a usa based company, there is no free speech on the forums, you act/say as they prefer or you get a warning/ban etc, though clearly some of them are beyond jaded and need replacing. The typical response of "its a private company they can do as they wish" because minors, you could detract from potential use/sales of the service, or any one perception. Personally, I wont take a peek at your post history but I'm curious as to the supposed violation. Unfortunately you play nice or they'll straight up remove your content or yourself at their own will.
