MSI Afterburner Core Clock & Memory Clock Slider Issue.
Hello everyone. I am new to overclocking and I recently downloaded MSI Afterburner. I have tried multiple times to change the core and memory clock sliders, but everytime i try to apply the settings it just resets to core clock = 1400mhz and memory clock = 1200mhz. What is the issue here and is there anything i can do to fix it.

Processor: Ryzen 7 3700U
GPU: Radeon RX Vega 10

Thanks!

Clocks are not unlocked in that chip. You can increase boost duration and power limit, but the clocks can't be changed.

Please note it's not wise to overclock on laptops as you can encounter overheating issues, or power issues.

Also researching can go a long way, doesn't hurt to research, about your hardware, if it can be overclocked, or not.

Thank you for the help! I was finally able to get a good gaming desktop, so i'm not having to use my laptop for gaming. You are correct, my laptop simply wouldn't overclock due to it being locked.
