Steam screen multiple screens
Hello, I have 3 x monitors but when I open a game on Steam I am unable to click on the other monitors as the mouse stays on that game screen.
Is there a way to change the settings when I am playing a game to be able to still move the mouse on the other screens?

Alt-tab from the game, even ESC works.

Put the games in (borderless) windowed mode. Check settings and/or google for each game if it's possible and how to do that.

I already tried those but they dont allow me to go to the other screen, Only way I can do it is to open task manager by CTRL - ALT - DEL. But I didnt want to do that as it is annoying.

Is that a setting in Steam?

No it's not. It's a setting in some games. It's a command line option in others. It's an INI file tweak in yet another set, and so on. That's why I said you had to google for each game you want the mouse to be free.

Always make sure that it's in Windowed Borderless, but some games also like to take priority, and not let go.

I found I can click the windows key and it now allows me to move the mouse out of the game. Just in case anyone else needed that..

Shift+tab to open Steam overlay lets you click elsewhere. Same with Discord overlay but that's more buggy

I know this is an old thread but I just learned that with a multiple display setup that the game will play on the screen that is set as the main screen.
