Should games like Earthrise be allowed on Greenlight?

Earthrise: First Impact is an mmoprg that's been scamming unsuspecting punters for around 4 years now (give or take). For someone who's been following the game, you would know that the devs ceased any involvement in the development of the game about 3-5 years ago, but still have a link to their founders packs on their website, disabled the forums, and have made no official statement about the game not being in development.

It doesn't take much of a genius to realise that what they're doing is continuing to scam customers on the basis they can still make money on a game that has a convincing "shop front". I don't know much about the law, but I really would think what they're doing is highly illegal, even if they do keep their terribly unstable servers up online.

Now in 2016 I've seen websites report that Earthrise made it through Greenlight under a new company called "SilentFuture", although there has only been one statement on their facebook page stating that it's still being worked on. Something was said along the same lines 2 years ago, and nothing came of it. It seems once again they've managed to bring this game into the public spotlight with no intention of doing anything with it.

I've known about this issue for some years now, and to see it still being advertised by game websites, to still see it on websites such as mmorpg with a hype rating of 8, and to even see it make it to Greenlight really quite upsets me.

Unless someone can prove to me this game is actually going somewhere, I will continue to protest against this games publicity. There are people in a position of responsibility who are turning a blind eye to this issue and its time we addressed it for the sake of all gamers out there.
