What is the difference between a gtx 1070 and a gtx 1070 founders edition

Is there any benefit with the founders edition? If yes what are pros.
the gtx 1070 founders edition is 45 dollars more than the gtx 1070 regular.

I'm on a budget and I want to know what is better.

1070 founders edition is the non-branded version coming directly from nVidia. Buying such cards should be out of question for common users. Its more for reviewing purproses or ppl who could not wait the few days until other versions come out.

I highly suggest to buy rather from vendors like MSI, EVGA or Gigabyte. Those will perform better and have more superior cooling.

EVGA cards have heat issues at this time so opt for a MSI or Gigabyte card instead.

A founders edition is worst (At least most of the time) in thermal specs and clock speeds. MSRP editions have things like silent fan, better quality of components, more and or different display ports, lights, water cooling, etc.
