How to stop friends chat popups for them coming online?
I constantly get full chat box popups that say "XX is now Online."

I dont need to know this at all. How do I turn it off?

Its already like that. I am not saying the steam overlay notification -- I get a FULL Chat box, as if I am going to message them.

Oh, sorry.

Does it happen with all friends, or just some? Are you at your computer when it happens? If someone invites you to a game, and they later exit the game, the only thing left will be an empty chat box, probably with "x is now online/offline" in it.
