Dragonball Xenoverse 2 wont start ://

So i just buyed DBX2 installed it and tryed to start it.. when i double click it the steam msg appears saying : DBX2 starting.. and then nothing happens not even a error code appears or anything it just wont let me start the game..

I tried everything

- Starting as Administrator
- Verify Game Cache
- Tried to start the game via. Steamapps/Common/DBX2

i dont have any ideas now.. its so sad paid 50 euros for it and it doesnt work..
if anyone of u guys have an idea how to fix this u would make my Day !!

Here are my PC specs :

Intel i5 2500K 3,2 GHz
8 GB DDR3 Ram
Gigabyte HD7870 Windforce x3
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit

please post the links of update and of the other forum, i have the exact same issue, i try start the game, the screen go black and go back to normal and nothing more happens, no errors, no warnings, nothing

i already have all c++ 64 and 86 packeges
last direct x installed
and all updates for windows avaliable

please send me the link of your solution

Hey bro here's what worked for me. I just did a post on it.

So I've seen a lot of posts about people launching the game and nothing happens. Took me a whole night to fix but this is what worked for me. So your microsoft windows system needs to be updated with the latest update. This is so that you can install the vc redist package properly ( Even though Steam says it has been installed it actually hasn't properly and this is the problem)

So what you need to do :

1- update windows with all the latest updates and restart your pc.

2- After restarting open up properties of DBZ xv2, click local files and then browse local files.

Open Common Redist file.

Open Vc Redist File

Open 2015 file

3- Here you will find the two files Vc Redist x64 and Vc Redist x86. Open each one and click repair.

4- Restart your pc and you should be good to go.

Note: the reason why your pc has to be updated to with the latest updates is because if it's not ,you won't be able to repair the Vc Redist files properly and you can't play the game without them.
