Is it possible to make a cash shop in-game that purchases through Steam?

This is mainly a question for developers and Steam staff. A new Steam game called Orake is out and the lead developer can't seem to get more than 5 items on his web shop for the game, and that shop forces everyone to pay through paypal.

He's been looking for a way to expand the shop to no avail. I know that he can add and remove cash items as DLCs, but is there a way for him to have an in-game shop that works the same way so people can pay through Steam without leaving the game...or atleast initiate the payment process by clicking to buy the item in-game?

The dev needs to work with Valve or something. Not you. Whomever is responsible for the actual game.

Cash: No. Its physically not possible to send cash over the internet. If you can live with electronic payment instead of cash, sure. There are many games on Steam that do that

So in-game pucharses that use Steam wallet... Some games like TF2 or CSGO have that already... also NO... NO NO NO.. that would mean we would have all that Android/iOS crap on Steam

Turns out a coder for the game said it's impossible since vb6 can't connect in-game functions with Steam.

There is a solition. A coder can create an adapting DLL that talks to the VB6 game on the one and the Steam API on the other side.
