Desktop Window Manager high gpu usage
Hello I have one problem with Desktop Window Manager. When I am going to start stream (obs) my Desktop Window Manager jumps to 80-90% usage and OBS is taking like 12-20% which is pretty okay. And when i am trying to play, it is imposibble. I would appreciate any answer. I watched every video on YouTube and none of them helped me. I was thinking about windows reinstall. But I will try this first.
PS: Desktop WIndow Manager is runninig at 15-20% without obs which in my opinion is high.

And when i am idle on pc it takes like 20-30% of gpu and it start to be laggy i dunno why

Yes while i am idle, but when i start obs and any game my gpu jumps to 100% and only desktop window manager is using like 60%
At idle the pc should be relatively below lets say 2% or so
The whole pc.

I just restarted my pc and it was like this at all time https://imgur.com/a/jRdUPYe which is great. BUT when i start OBS and some game it jumps back to 50-60%. And I don´t know if reinstalliing windows will help.

Check a couple things.
1. Is it OBS or the game? Start only the game, start only OBS
2. Do you get bad performance in that game? If not, then there's no problem to solve (and GPU usage going up when gaming is the whole point of GPUs).
Why would you reinstall windows if a programm is occupying your pc when its started?

It is only with obs. I get like 70% together with dwm. I tried to install older version of obs and the newest and it is still happening. I need to fix this because i have an income from it.

Do you get in-game performance issues with OBS running or do you not? If not, file that under "Whatever that is, my GPU handles it just fine" and be done with it.

Otherwise, you may want to check OBS forums. It may have encoding settings. Steam for example has 2 different ways to capture from Nvidia cards, one one is better than the other in terms of CPU/GPU load. OBS may have something similar.

Yes of course but i dont understand why when i turn obs on it takes 20% (or lower sometimes) usage but as soon as i turn it on dwm jumps to 70% and that´s the problem why it is laggy

Well, the problem is clearly with OBS then. Official OBS troubleshooting ressources[obsproject.com] are therefor the way to start.

Out of curiosity: do you depend on OBS specifically or rather on Twitch (or streaming in general)? And if in general, why isn't Nvidia's/AMD's Twitch integration an option? I'm not trying to shepherd you into something, I'm trying to understand for the sake of my own curiosity.

Well i would like to stream with OBS but if it is problem i will switch to streamlabs and hope it won´t do same problem.

You should try the official OBS troubleshooting ressources first. Then their community.

So i tried it. Didn´t help anything. Also i tried to download Streamlabs obs and it is worse. At idle state it took like this https://imgur.com/a/K0fa3oS it took 41% + 30% (another program to run streamlabs) usage on gpu. But dwm is lower at 25%. And it is more laggy then on obs. I also went to official obs troubleshooting and none of them helped me. I am lost at this moment and don´t know what to do...

Have you asked the OBS community for help?
