Because you bought DLC in them. Free games do not count towards your library count.

You may be talking about 100% off sales, those add to your badge as long as the game doesn't become f2p after.

No I did not buy any dlcs in them. Take as a example: Path of Exile

Free games do not count unless you buy something within i.e the premium portion of the game. If you do this, the game is seen as 'owned'. You can download as much crap as you want but you'll just be wasting your time.

there used to be more games like that, but they got disabled or are regular f2p now.

Yea I know... I tried to explain it to them but they dont want to believe it. Well I will still look for more games.

Those are free to own titles, not F2P games. I assumed the OP was talking about the latter as they've bloated their library with all these games but not played them.
