I need to remove a DLC from my Library, how do I go about this?
I installed a game that works on both Mac and PC. All of its DLCs are free, so I went ahead and downloaded each of them.
The problem occurred immediately after I installed one of the DLCs that was designed for Windows only (I'm on a Mac running macOS 10.14.6 Mojave– not Catalina). Once it downloaded (which it shouldn't have done– I'm not running Boot Camp, Wine, or a VM– but it did anyway and took over 40 seconds to complete), the button that normally says 'Launch game' now read as something like 'join_click…'
Thereafter, whenever I would try to install the remaining DLC packs, it would instead attempt to launch the game automatically (these DLCs are not things you get from within the game, so idk why it's doing this).
The major problem: The game doesn't actually launch. After a 1-millisecond attempt, a crash report appears, informing me that I can send ignore the crash or send the report to Apple.
I uninstalled the game, then cleared my download cache and tried to reinstall.
The game was originally only a few hundred megabytes to begin with, but now it's over 4GB and can barely install a little over 1MB in 30 seconds. My internet connection is very stable.
I then attempted it again, this time deleting it from my account 'permanently' (temporarily). It installed like I was getting it for the first time. However, the DLC packs were still broken thanks to the corruption caused by the one DLC that's only for Windows.
I need to delete the windows-only DLC from my account so that the game can run properly.

If I remember correctly, it was right-clicked game in client, manage DLC.

Edit: Sorry, just checked, DLC's under properties.

Does that actually work now? I recall it not working for me in the past. It used to install the DLCs even though I unchecked them.

With Bee comment , but that depend on game and what game devs did.
some game is released as all in one, and then you cant remove the DLC they are code into main .exe as they should be there.

And it seem to my you need to wipe that game install folder and start over.
you add some thing that not part of Original content, like a DLC and you forget if it has to fix other things , ( for me its sounds like a mod and not original DLC game dev content )

No game name, that dont make it better.

It works as in "DLC not available in the game by then". Whether the DLC gets installed or not, depends on the game. Payday 2 for example contains all the DLC content no matter you owning the particular piece of DLC or not, it's just it's enablement for you being tied to purchase.

I didn't want to give the game a bad rap, so I didn't include it in the description. The title is Simutrans, a train tycoon of sorts

Also, it's not running a .exe since it's on Mac.
