Is Windows Defender screwing with my games?

I tried to play games like Minecraft and Rising Storm 2 however RS2 says that I have an incompatible driver with Easy Anti cheat (which makes no sense because its up to date) and Minecraft mentioned an issue whenever joining my friends server that an existing connection was forcibly closed by the host.

I looked into both of them and saw some solutions being to disable your firewall and windows defender however this has not worked. Im really confused because literally weeks ago I was playing these games

More than likely it is, and has possibly already sequestered files which are important for the EAC and games to run.

It's possible that the OS updated (if you're on w10 it is known to mess with settings already), so you might want to make absolutely certain that no files are being kept out of use.

Since I don't use 10, I don't know what to tell you to get that done, but hopefully someone else can. :)

its possible though unlikely. windows defenders only rarely gives false positives and is genrally only an issue ironically with windows app store games than regular ones

What your security app is doing is User own problem. if allow rule or exception rule is added that your job. or take it up with security app support. even if it work or not.

example theother way block something and it dont work.
all this is firewall and anti virus , most see it as one app today even blocking filter in a browser link . some app do it all. so you need to to a expert in this who is doing what.

thats hardware issue witha driver i think , again User problem to update and Maintain pc.
thats Brand pc support or Brand manufactory Mortherboard support page if its a Custom build pc.

whatever that is sounds like your server has issue with firewall or game server is not update or version dont match each other with a player. ask game own forum.

can you even join own game server. ( test own server from other place to make sure external connection is tested to get in.
