It's possible that the OS updated (if you're on w10 it is known to mess with settings already), so you might want to make absolutely certain that no files are being kept out of use.
Since I don't use 10, I don't know what to tell you to get that done, but hopefully someone else can. :)
example theother way block something and it dont work.
all this is firewall and anti virus , most see it as one app today even blocking filter in a browser link . some app do it all. so you need to to a expert in this who is doing what.

whatever that is sounds like your server has issue with firewall or game server is not update or version dont match each other with a player. ask game own forum.
can you even join own game server. ( test own server from other place to make sure external connection is tested to get in.
