Can I not purchase steam digital gift card with gamestop gift card online?
It allows me to purchase it but after I try to checkout it just make me sit at a loading screen for 10 minutes.

I'd suggest reading the fine print on the card. Most online purchases like that cannot be used for other online purchases. Also I don't believe you can even USE a gamestop card for some competitor's funding...
