Configure/map back buttons on forty4 pc/xbox controller

I have a forty4 pc wireless gaming controller that comes with 4 extra buttons on the back(M1,M2,M3,M4). How do I map them to have new commands on those buttons like M1 opening the map on BF4 and M2 opening up chat? The current button configuration is annoying as pressing M1 has the same command as A and X buttons.

Does it work as XInput or DirectInput? What buttons do you see in Windows' gamepad control panel?

From the amazon page

"【Wide Compatibility】: The game controller is compatible with - Windows (Xinput and Dinput), Android TV Box, Vista, PS3, Switch and Android 4.0 and Up (OTG supported). It is not compatible with - Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac, iOS, Playstation 4, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon fire stick."

I only see the base ten buttons. If the additional buttons were to be shown on the PC there would be 4 more.

Here is what it says about the M button.
M Buttons】: The presence of M buttons makes you a master manipulator. You can edit any complex operation as an M button. Combination keys are (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, L3, LT, RT, R3). Direction keys are (up, down, left, and right).
