Steam update notification pop-up

How do i disable this ? Was in the middle of a match on Fifa 21 , and a steam update popup appeared , which causes fifa 21 to disconnect. Is it possible to turn this off ?
Any program which causes a pop up whilst playing fifa disconnects you from online play

As for updates to the steam application itself, just do it, I don't think they pop up too often.

Hi , it is the Steam client application itself , i dont mind that it updates , but i dont need a pop up notification telling me .

Try... Create a "steam.cfg" file

BootStrapperInhibitAll=enable
BootStrapperForceSelfUpdate=disable

copy it in the Steam-Folder - if you ever want go to update to the new Client delete this file.
