Family Sharing Error "Failed to Authorize Computer (Account Disabled)

Hello Everyone

August 2019, i gave my PC to a friend because of studies and work. I forgot to format all drives. I had a dual boot computer with win10 and win7. On the win7 i had my steam account logged in. My friend bought ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of games and now the account has been locked almost for 2 years.

I have contacted Steam Support but they won't even investigate my case, saying "Your account is your responsibility" which is so messed up. Is there any way to unlock a steam account? Locked does not mean that i can't sign in. I can, and i can even play multiplayer on the games i already have. I've had my account for 10 years and never encountered any trouble with steam. I recently bought a gaming pc again, so i can kick back some CSGO or cod when i get home from work.

I can't buy anything, family share or anything related to buying.

Only support can lift the lock.

Correct. The lock prevents sharing amongst other things.

Did valve give your pc to your friend and forget to format the drive? Of course not. Unless you can provide what support requires from you, then you are sol.

Dude, YOU are the one here who absolutely screwed up. You cannot possibly blame anyone here for just... being aghast that you'd allow anyone to use your PC, let alone *wait two full years* to do anything about the problem.
