Steam try's to install AMD Dual core optimizer

Hi steam players,
I have another account from where I play games.

For some steam games steam try's to install AMD Dual core optimizer!?

I have no objection, just wanted to ask whether the dual core optimizer of AMD will work well or not on my laptop.

Here are my specs:
Core i3 7020U
Ram-12GB

Will it be safe to install AMD Dual core optimizer on a computer having Intel CPU?
Will it work well with my core i3 processor? If it is harmful should I remove it?

If you install a optimizer for a CPU you dont have, nothing will happen. Thats all.
It only activates if it finds the correct CPU, if not, then it just stays off.

Some older games uses this, it to improve performance, and fixes the issues as well for said older game that the point of it.

No this doesn't cause harm to anyone, and yes you can remove it if you want.
