just had a look at your profile. the thumbnails are still black and your artwork stills are thin lines; barely able to click on them. i guess i'll also be having the same issue as you.
maybe the workaround to this problem is to occasionally upload a proper screenshot with F12 for every 5 custom screenshots you want to upload
no that's alright! i figured it out... fixed the problem!.. the problem was me trying to upload a high resolution artwork as screenshot with code in chrome! those thin artworks was suppose to look like that in artwork tab! i put them on my artwork showcase which you can see'em showing perfectly on my profile showcase with snow effect... the high resolution screenshot though, the trick was to prepare my main screenshot first that i want to upload, then took a dummy screenshot with F12 from the game's main menu that i want, then open the main screenshot with paint and copy it, then open dummy screenshot also with paint and then paste my main screenshot into dummy screenshot and for the last step is to find relevant dummy screenshot's thumbnail and delete it, restart steam and it'll generate the new thumbnail for main screenshot that i just copied on dummy one!
except only two of those artworks supposed to show like thin black thumbnails! this is a new problem! i noticed just now.
