Any way to talk to real humans in Steam's support?
I know this is just an indie company that can't afford to hire real people to respond to it's customers, but maybe there's a way and I just couldn't find it?

tried the suppor in the Help Tab?

not liking the response doesnt mean its a Bot or autmatic..

you submit a support ticket, that is the only way to talk to someone from steam support. they do not have to have a conversation with you, they only need to review your ticket and then decide what policy allows.

if you provide some information, some of the forum regulars may be able to answer your question or provide more insight into why you are not getting the answer you want.

Steam tickets are mostly automated answers, they don't take anything you write into consideration. Was just wondering if a multi-billion dollar company had any way for it's customers to talk to humans.

Pre-written answers =/= automated answers.

Sounds like you're trying to refund a game without being eligible for a refund.

Nope, I just need to sell items in the market. When my bank or any other reputable company freezes my assets for security reasons, I can talk to them, prove it's me and lift the restrictions. Don't understand why it has to be different with Steam.

once a cooldown is triggered, not even steam support can remove it. talking to them will do nothing

If you are unable to use the market for any reason, the market page will have a notice that tells you exactly why. No support needed.

Yeah, great way to treat their customers. And people don't know why Epic is growing so much.

epic doesnt have a market, they dont have a shopping cart. their growth has nothing to do with your issue. they dont even have a forum for you to ask questions or have a discussion on.

If epic had the same features as steam, same amount of customers and the same issues steam has, they very likely would have added similar restrictions.

You should probably stick to your previous thread.

For now, but when the monopoly is garbage any competition is welcome. Anyway not here to fight you guys, was just curious if there was another level of support that I was missing.

EPIC did grow by a measly 5% in 2020. According to their own yearly report a few days ago.
STEAM grew 27% in the same time. EPIC is actually stagnating something fierce at the moment, even ORIGIN and UPLAY have better growth rates.

On the average every user only spend about 3 dollars last year on EPIC, thats PATHETIC.
Most users just grab the weekly free games and dont spend a dime.
75% of the EPIC income is still only their own products like Fortnite.
