Looking for some good singleplayer FPS games

I can't find anything right now. And Steam keeps showing me trash, 3rd person action games and hentai when trying to use the tags...what the ♥♥♥♥. Or multiplayer titles like Siege, CSGO, Insurgency, Squad etc. Again, what the ♥♥♥♥ Steam?

Give me something like DOOM, DUSK, AMID EVIL, Titanfall 2, Half-Life, Call of Duty, Far Cry, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Wolfenstein.

No early access titles please.

One of the best FPS games ever made is Unreal Tournament GOTY edition.

It's an older game, but was way ahead of it's time. It runs on anything Windows, too.

Played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it when I was a kid. And it has aged better than many others.

Well if you are up to some challenge, I'd recommend some roguelites. My personal favourite includes Void Bastards and Gunfire Reborn.

I tried some roguelite shooters. My problem with these types of games is that the gunplay feels really weak. Little or no blood, weak gun sounds, poor enemy death animations etc. I am also not a fan of that weird cute art style they go for. I find something as old as Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Red Faction to look much better. No manual saving and having to replay early levels many times is also something I don't like. The level design feels really basic, like someone snapped together some squares and added random stuff in them. Not my cup of tea.

Metros on ranger diffuculty are very unique experiences (didn't play Exodus). You die so easily but enemy also dies so easily. After playing Metros on ranger diffuclty every other fps became boring because of enemies being bullet sponges.

You could try Dishonoreds but you probably did already.

It appears that you appreciate classic games also, I loved XIII dearly when I was tiny, if you haven't tried it yet then I would wholeheartedly recommend it;

This may not be a shooter per se but it's first person at least, perhaps you'll find enjoyment in it unless you've already tried it;

If Dishonored isn't exactly your taste, then there's Prey, same developers who made Dishonored;

Never heard of that mod. From what I see now the main thing of that mod are some new guns. Is there something more like new levels or that's it?

Never heard of it. And I can't find it on any digital stores. Just on Amazon. Is it any good? Games based on movies have a reputation for being trash.

Haven't played Generation Zero. Is it any good or single player or is coop a must?
