Using Chrome, cleared all cookies and cache but it's still asks me a code for each time I try to connect and once I close the browser it logs out, started doing this today wtf?

Edit: Steam support send me a message that they reconzied the porblem and working on it.
Meanwhile you can use the market via the Steam launcher browser.

Clearing your cookies will remove saved passwords for the site. :cfacepalm:

Ensure that you have the option there to save your login checked, and DON'T remove cookies.

Disable any browser extensions you have on chrome in addition to that.

That's not true there a seperate option to clear passwords, anyway the stay login is checked and even it wasn't it's not supposed to ask for a code each and every time I login.
This thing started just now out of the blue haven't installed anything and don't have any browser extension expect adblock.

What is the exact AdBlock that you're using? You may want to temporarily disable that.

I have the latest version of Chrome and OperaGX here with no issues.

Removed it completely still the issue persists, I'm sure you don't have the problem if it was a global problem you would've seen many posts about it, this seems like a regional problem also the site itself is very slow.
I should mention that any other site is just fine and stayed logged in.

Now there are many threads about it, people just started to notice.. :steamfacepalm:

It's their cookies only. They're set to session only and expire once you leave the site.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up in one of their endless maintenance adventures.

I have been having the same issue with Firefox for day or so. Gonna try to fix it myself with Cookie Editor since i clearly can't rely on their useless support staff.

Yeah I know bro and the most annyoing thing is their dumbass support, I already wrote to them everything I wrote in this thread and others and they still send me suggestions that the problem is on my part, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amatures!

A lot of users have reported issues with trading due to invalid cookies.

It seems that these issues have also affected client login sessions.

As said above, it started after the last Tuesday maintenance.

I would personally recommend waiting until next Tuesday then try again to see if this issue has been straightened out (for those affected).

It's not like we have a choice rather than wait for Valve to get their act together (:

Posted in another thread already but thought id say I have the same issue as well with both the client and the web page. Support just gives a blanket statement about cookies and antivirus. Not helpful, nothing has changed on my PC. This is on their end.....
