Tabletop Simulator (TTS) : Catan almost unplayable today

I don't know if this is the right place to ask about this, but we almost could not get a game going tonight. We have just been facing crazy problem after crazy problem. Here are the issues we have encountered tonight:

1. The invite window is tiny and doesn't work on my computer. (I usually host. I kept retrying, restarting TTS and restarting steam. I even restarted my computer. It refused to work. The window would change when a new person launched steam/TTS, but nothing could be clicked in the tiny window.) I gave up and had my mother-in-law create a game. She was able to invite people. However...
2. The order of the players around the table was different for her (my mother-in-law, the host) versus the rest of us, which made turn order really confusing
3. The deal buttons are multiplying all over the place, including a giant one on one side of the table, and NONE of the deal buttons work for anyone except the host. Plus, there's an errant "roll dice" button on top of other elements.
4. 3 of the ports were rotated incorrectly. I was able to fix this using the l key. When I unlocked the items, they flipped into place. Then I locked them back in.
5. Steam/TTS froze my wife's entire computer and we had to force-restart it. There wasn't even a cursor on the screen.

Steam/TTS has never been so buggy and difficult to use before. I might be forgetting some things. What is going on?

Acronyms suck in opening posts. Most people would not have any idea what you are talking about. I don’t and am not about to spend time figuring it out.

Now, my mother-in-law tried to deal the cards and errors showed up in the game chat. Tried multiple times. We ended up just grabbing our own cards. It worked on the next turn though.
