Steam p2p relay server
If any of you know about the development of the Steam Network, please answer.

We are developing a game based on Valve's Steam Peer-to-peer Networking.
Here, if the router hole punching fails, network communication through a relay server (relay server) is required.
At this time, we will ask if the developer should create a separate dedicated server to perform the relay server function.
Or, Steam supports the relay server function, so we ask if the developer does not need to create a relay server.

From what I gathered, you get the infrastructure from Valve. You can run own infrastructure, but you can use what you get from Valve.

There was an update note about "preventing usage of relay in unnecessary cases".
That supports what you say.
