"Hey there,
I've been using my Deathadder for about a year and a half now, and just about 2 days ago it started having erratic movements while playing a game. At first I thought it was buggy Cyberpunk 2077 being buggy, but then I played Fall Guys and noticed the same thing was happening. So while playing, at first, everything is fine, but then usually after 20-25 min of gaming it just starts doing weird movements and not responding to my movement inputs. That usually happens shortly after Shift-tabbing (that's opening the Steam overlay). When that's happening, using the Steam overlay fixes the problem. I can browse the Steam overlay without a problem but upon going back to the game it breaks it again.
Unplugging the mouse doesn't fix the problem, but restarting the game competely does. But even then, I have to restart the game every 20-30 min or so because the problem keeps coming back.
I didn't make any changes to my rig or setup and Razer Synapse is up-to-date. I am using X-Mouse Button Control but that's only to disable Mouse Buttons 4 and 5 and nothing else. My mouse seems to be in very good condition so I'm not sure what's causing this. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
Oh, and my mouse looks like a Deathadder V2 only the middle buttons used to change the sensitivity are a bit thinner and longer than the one they show on Razer's website.

EDIT1: Going to Device Manager and Mice and other pointing devices it says it's a Razer DeathAdder Elite.
EDIT2: When ingame, for example Fall Guys, hitting ESC once to go to the settings menu, the cursor does NOT have any erratic movement there. It's only when actually playing.
EDIT3: I haven't used the Steam ingame Overlay for over an hour just to test this, and I haven't had any trouble. Maybe 5-10 minutes after opening the Overlay, the problem appeared! So as it seems to be a problem with Steam and not the mouse, I'll switch to the Steam Forums and I'll come back here if it ends up being a problem with my mouse."
+ no one bother with is the BIOS update and chipset driver, the further you go back the more pc user is the problem , and let be truth about it, atm all AMD users take first place for not have pc update at all. ( that dont mean Intel user are better at it, but if we look at steam post over the last 5 years, you can find many amd pc user with a system issue. and alot of game issue
And if you notice how all have a some random pc and they dont thik detail matters.
pretty much every post is a unknown pc, only skilled person know the diffrence here.
I could also say if you think i and other as helper here that day we need help will egt away with no spec, think again , we will see post reply with you know better and we dont have to tell you give us pc spec here.
This post says alot but actual not much, and he make a mistake in think we need to read things at Razor forum.
And it don't help then many forum do not have support that reply in them or they do own ticket system there.
ps.
so NO this look like Razor own problem, with its driver, i dare you test with other mouse.
This is not about me being right, this is about process in faulth finding, mouse is still being seen as the stupid device ever, they dont report back then things dont work, they either work or do not.
And steam just use OS mouse default. ( there is no mouse setting in steam , there is controller and thats not same thingy. )
and be happy i and other bother with a reply. ( i bet steam will close ticket asap about mouse issue ) that's require steam actuyal make a mouse to pc, never going to happend, because then all can or will complain over mouse issue. )
also why you see game devs with so few mouse settings like scroll speed and invert option.
so rare this is the issue today, you can find many post in the past with webhelper and size of this. ( that's overlay if you did not know this )
