Having issues with all Steam Games.

I haven't found a solution to this despite trying all methods (verifying game cache files etc), but all my Steam games have suddenly started to run like crippled mules.
For example
Fallout 4 gives me grief with sound and unusual frame rate behaviour. When I fire my weapon at certain locations sometimes there's no sound for about 5 secs. The frame rate issue only manifests itself at certain locations too. Outside Goodneighbour the frame rate gradually drops until it eventually freezes. In some other locations the game runs fine.
Skyrim crashes to desktop sometimes and I fall through the ground sometimes.
iL-2 Sturmovik will become choppy in both frame rate and sound for about 10 - 15secs then suddenly pick up again at various points in the game.
iL-2 CoD/Blitz will also become choppy and once in a while will freeze.
None Steam games all run fine, Crysis 2 runs perfectly and that game is maxed out with the high res texture pack. All other games are fine too.

My nephew has told me he has been having similar issues with some Steam games also.
I'm not sure if it's a geographical issue, network issue or what.
Any ideas?

and thats why you lack abit , or alot depend how you fell about it, RAM and cpu , but you need a optimized pc to get last optimize out of the pc if we can call it that.

do scan pc for junk and registration issue, this is tune pc and i call tweak pc. if you know such apps use them.

i forgot old tip , uninstall extra GPU Drivers just keep core only. not sure what name it has on AMD , but Nvidia has 3D vision and other experience app you dont need at all, then GPU card is low end, many laptop or desktop user do that.

even steam setting turn as much they can to reduce steam usage.

please go away troll its not enable but load to my old GPU on Laptop, you have no skill and dont know every Driver made to old GPU CARD they have not been update in long time.

The 3D vision software is only now available as a separate install for older versions of windows. Doesn't matter if the card support it or not. It's never been packed since Release 418 in like 2019. If it is, I strongly suggest to reevaluate your source to download your said drivers as it doesn't look clean at all if it is including a such thing in 2021.

Things that comes to mind that I can think of top of my head.

- Over heating hardware.

- Bad drivers update if you recently did.

- Driver conflicts, or running other background app with games fighting for resource.

- Using iGPU instead of the dedicated GPU. <---- Common issue with laptops, also common issue for people connected their monitor to the wrong port for their desktop.

- Anti virus doing something while you're trying to play your game causing performance hit.

- Downloading something same time as you're playing your game.

- Bad mods. or mods acting up that you're using for your Fallout, skyrim, and etc...

- Malware/Virus on system causing problems.

Do please post your system specs as this can help us a lot to getting some kind of answers.

- Connection Quality issues.

And that's what my thoughts are leaning toward since changing the graphics settings low didn't make any difference. Go to View > Servers, set filters for the games as you prefer, and join one with the lowest Latency you can find that has players on it.

running the process at speedtest.net also recommended but if it is a connection issue the fact that other games run fine and it being a grphics issue has been ruled out is making me think it's a connection issue with Steam. Your internet connection it self might be fine and that's why the other games run but your connection to Steam or the servers you're playing on sucks.
Insure you're joining servers you connect to very well. The lower the latency the better.

If it is a connection issue with Steam that could possibly be a firewall, anti-virus, or another on Shadowds list.

No wonder LOL.You take a driver of 2018, one year before the discontinuity of 3D visions in these drivers. It's been updated a LOT since.

Try going to device manager and temporarily disable the Audigy 4 card under "Sound, video and game controllers." If this solves the problem then it may be that the sound card drivers are buggy under Win 10 and require updating.

again you have no clue how things work , go talk with a Technician , you are so lost that you dont get it, and look líke a troll, nvidia will not update a driver because there is nothing more to update with people GPU from each Model, and can you please stop hijacking hes thread , try help OP , and you did not do that one time.
