i cannot send a gift to my friends

i am trying to gift a game to one of my friends, but i already have it in my library. how do i add it to my cart so i can gift it to my friend? there is no button to add it to the cart like everything tells me.

You can`t! Once you`ve added a game to your account, it belongs to the account until the end of time.

yes but i am not trying to give them the game i own, i am trying purchase and gift another copy of game i already own.

Is it just the game, or a personalized bundle? Which can not be gifted at all, even if you do not own the game.
