Steam freezes up after Win10 has been locked for a while.
So, most of the time when I've had my computer locked to the password screen, I'll come back and try to use Steam only to find that it's frozen up. Sometimes it's not completely frozen, but only can't be moved around, or only won't let me move between the categories at the top, etc.

Is there a fix to this, or do I just have to deal with having to Exit Steam and restart it after coming back to my computer?

Is it steam or your computer?

Check your steam is up to date and your computer is to, if you have a slow computer I can see something like that happening. Or it could be your Internet connection.

You'll want to check windows is updated also.

It's Steam itself, and ONLY Steam that has this issue.

Of course that would prevent it, considering exiting and restarting Steam fixes it. I'm asking if there's a way to prevent the freeze up without having to do this.
