Is the refund team dead?
Usually it takes like 2-3 hours max for a refund to process, this time its 3 days without a reply...

Not sure what you are talking about. All I did was request a refund for games with 90 minutes and 15 minutes playtime that were purchased a week ago.

If you made any changes to your account, like changing a password, it will delay the refund request by 3 days.

If your ticket is still open, then it has not been reviewed and decided on yet. It can take a few days, sometimes just a few hours.

Yeah they are still open. There is nothing to decide it is a refund that will happen. I am not sure why for the first time in so many years it takes longer than a few hours. I did not change any account info.

It's possible that your previous requests were automatically reviewed, while this request got kicked to a person for a manual review. In any case, it can take up to 7 days. How long a review took in the past does not necessarily indicate the times in the future.

You may want to check your most recent refund approved email for a warning about abusing refunds. It might explain the delay on this one. Valve doesn't want refunds to be an usual thing.

They're not trying to threaten you or goad you, dude. What they mean is maybe you didn't notice a warning, not that you GOT a warning. We can't know.

But just because prior refunds went through quickly will never mean that all of them will.
