Did you select the purchase in that list and then click "I have a question about this purchase" and submit a ticket to Steam Support about the issue?
However, this review says that he only was able to get it fixed by calling SWTOR support:

You can also report the issue on the subscription's store page by clicking the flag on the right side of the page next to the Share and Embed buttons. This is to let Valve know that there is an issue with the product so that they can determine if the subscription should be pulled from the Steam store until it is fixed.
Maybe this is another issue caused by the changes that EA made to stop people exploiting EA Play on Steam to get game keys for free.
I recommend that you remove your account login name from your two posts that include it. This is a public Steam users forum. You are talking to other Steam users just like you, not to Steam Support. Those posts that you made contain information that scammers trick other Steam users into giving them so that the scammers can use it to send a Steam password reset request.
cSg|mc-Hotsauce did not make any claim about the number of purchases that you have made. cSg|mc-Hotsauce looked at this badge on your account that gives the most recent date when a new purchase was added to Steam
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198027151436/badges/13
(the date and time shown will change depending on the time zone setting of the device used to look at it)
I don't know if subscription purchases make that badge update, I never looked at my badge to see if it updated when I purchased a few months subscriptions years ago.
Your account login name will not show in forum posts, only your account profile name will show there. Steam profile names are not unique and can be used on many different Steam accounts, but Steam login names are unique and should be kept private as one part of account security. You can change your Steam account's profile name by clicking the Edit Profile button on your profile. I suggest that you do that now, and delete your profile name history. You cannot change your Steam Account's login name.
i clicked on the link from the game to upgrade to subscriber
Some people are having issues when subscribing via Steam. Whether this is an issue with Steam or linking to your Swtor account is unknown.
You are best to contact Swtor support directly and explain your position regarding a purchase failure or that your status has not updated to subscriber after purchasing.
Contact info:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support#subscriber
You could also ask if subscribing directly on the Swtor website is available if you play via Steam. I have never played via Steam but via the external client and never had an issue subscribing.
did you not read my post
i have already been on the phone to EA and was advised they cant do anything for me, at their end no sub is showing and i need to contact steam
jeez i feel like broken record going round and around
i have sent a message from this this method, lets see what happens
I read your post.

Where they posted:
"Steam support was friendly and got back to me within a single business day. Though, their hands are tied and they CANNOT HELP with instating the subscription whatsoever".
Only Swtor support can help as the linking is broken when purchasing on Steam and it is EA who set up the linking as they control the store page not Steam support.
Took me about 10 minutes on the phone with a very competent employee, maybe this was just dumb luck.
