Steam Browser not supported?

I wanted to complete a task in one of my badges which requires the steam browser but anytime I open it google says

"This browser or app may not be secure.
Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you can refresh your screen and try again to sign in."

I am using the latest version of steam so I don't know why I have this issue if I could use my normal browser it would all be fine but steam doesn't let me

It no longer works in Steam itself, correct.

You must use a real browser.
