Cannot buy as a gift because "the contents are personalized to you account"

I'm trying to buy "Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition" for a friend, but at checkout the "Purchase as a gift" option is not clickable with the text:

What does this mean?

That means that the devs have decided that the bundle price is dependent on content you already own, so you can't send it as a gift to someone else. There is no way around this.

You could send them a digital gift card so they can buy it themselves, or maybe you can purchase a key on a legitimate site which you can gift to them instead.

Sometimes it's also just that they wont let you gift it. In this case I don't own anything in any of the bundles for it but it still won't let me purchase it as a gift.

Because it is personalized for YOU. Not your grandma, best friend or pet ant.

It's still not giftable because it is still a tailored bundle. Doesn't matter if you own a part of it or not, you can't gift a tailored bundle.

Tailored bundles cannot be gifted period.
