Does anyone know how to send a pictures of chat when Family View is turned on？

Recently, I found that I couldn't send pictures in the chat. After asking the customer service, I got a reply because I turned on Family View
But I open the Family View to make my account more secure, so I don't want to close it. Does anyone know how to solve this problem

No, it doesn't work. As long as I enable Family View, I can't send pictures. It's not about the settings

Normally, this should be a BUG, but it has been more than a year since steam's technicians still not found this BUG?

It isn't a bug. It is a security feature for the Family View settings.

If you don't want restrictions from family view, "close" family view and keep your account safe via other means. My preferred one is basic security hygiene/common sense. My account is as old as Steam itself and got hijacked exactly 0 times.

Take two seconds to think about why you wouldn't want sending and receiving pictures in private chat to be possible in *family* view, a feature normally used to protect minors, regardless of PINs. I'll wait.

But I can still receive pictures from my friends after I enter my pin. I just can't send the picture

woah I have been having this problem since the very beginning of revamped steam chat and finally have the urge to google it. ended up finding this, how disappointing :')

and yes, I believe the behavior shouldn't be like this and I also consider this a bug

hey hope I am not too late. there is actually a fix for this. you need to enable "Friends, chat and groups" while Family View is enabled. go to steam Settings -> Family View -> Manage Family View. you can then send image while Family View is turned on or off. I got the trick from sending an inquiry to Steam Support. hope it helps

No, the entire solution was discovered a long time ago, but in fact, Family View still has various problems
