Refund game after use steam points

There are some hentai games with nice backgrounds and other items but i don't want them in my library. Can i refund a game after use the points to get their items in the points shop? Would this be refund abuse?

Refunding the games would also forfeit the points you received for the purchase, and consequently anything you got with those points.

What happens to my Steam Points when I refund a game?

When you refund a game, the points you gained from that purchase will be deducted from your account. If that causes your Points balance to go negative, we'll also remove the most recent items and Community Awards (and related tips) you've used points for, until your balance is no longer negative.

So the forfeit only applies when my balance is negative. If i have an excess of points i could maintain the purchased items. Right?

Correct.

You need 2 hours playtime in the game before you can buy the items.

Having 2 hours playtime means you may not get a refund.

It's that way on purpose I assume to stop people doing what you want to do.

Well you can buy a background, trading cards, or emoji off the Steam Market.

There a lot of items missing in the Steam Market and some of them are more expensive than the game itself.
