How do I reset the game data/personal progress of an online game?

Apparently, on Steam, it's possible to reset a game's game data to start it over again. From what I can tell, when this happens, I believe things like achievements and gameplay hours remain as they were because of how Steam is set up. I've attempted to reset a game before, but due to how these methods work and/or how they're performed, this doesn't work on games that are played online. I've done research many times and from what I've seen from researching and doing stuff like this with other games and such, I believe it is possible to reset the game data of online games on Steam through some kind of method or something. This isn't the first time I've asked for help either, though I've yet to receive anything from anyone, but neither the idea that what I'm trying to do is impossible. So, why am I asking for help again? Well, let's just say I really wanna do this, especially since I can't find anything of Google, either, let alone YouTube.
Specifically, I was looking to reset the game data of my Team Fortress 2 and likely my Payday 2, as well.

You can't do that most of the time without contacting the support of the company who made the game.

Multiplayer games, like MMOs, store the data on their own servers, there's nothing you can do about that.

Game name and you could have ask your own game forum first.
many games can be reset, its just depend on what game devs did, i even notice some games grant Delete option in save game menu, but not in load game menu.

even game devs can wipe your profile or charector's , to even go through all the option i will not.

Well, I forgot to mention that I'm specifically looking to reset Team Fortress 2 and likely Payday 2. Does that help?

Other will soon reply if its possible or Not, ask also own game forum, im sure story mode reset should be possble but as you said it not the other steam data.

i dont had payday2 and dont even played TF2 ,so i cant help you but i bet other will soon reply.

After being bored of it all, I resetted my game progress and dint make a back up. starting with level 0 and no money and nothing.

and i bet you get why its impossbile to reply a general how to do, then all depend on game devs and as they above user even point out

I see that. I'm not looking to reset my settings on TF2, though, I'm looking to reset my game progress. I wanna start over. Though what I'm trying to do won't reset things like my gameplay hours or achievements cause of how Steam is set up, but that's ok, anyway.

What the Payday 2 video showed is exactly what I'm looking to do. I'm guessing Team Fortress 2 doesn't give users this option somewhere in the menu or something, though.
