Can I safely cancel During “Verify integrity of game files” process .
Blackout occur during game file verification process . So I have no choice but press the cancel button and shut down when my UPS still working . Is there any drawback for doing like this ? Or am I just paranoid ?

Just restart verification once you get back up on steam.

No different to stopping a game downloading. Just exit Steam as normal then continue when you load it again.

So I just need to resume verification when I log in back to steam ? Power is back now , thank you so much for your answers .

Yes. If it doesn't automatically pick up where it was just start it again
