Some indie devs never pass the sales threshold.

Released 2018, the above game is an example, due to it's low price, niche appeal and the fact the dev is nice and gave it away free to a big chunk of his fanbase who had purchased previous games (people who were the most likely to buy it) it will now probably never get out of the Profile Features Limited stage.
You have to sell a certain amount on Steam, and that is based on monetary sales not volume of sales, so indie games that are cheap or have given a lot of keys to cheap bundle sites for publicity etc often fail to make enough money.
That certainly would explain it then. How much money does an indie game have to make before it qualifies for trading cards?
I think it's about $1,000, but I could be wrong, sure someone will correct me if I am.
I have no idea how player engagement is measured considering all the things they say DON'T count.
Far less than $10k.
What game?
Always a nice surprise when they drop later on.
