Steam Cloud Sync Is Out Of Date

Hi all,

So basically I tried booting up Witcher 3 like I do every day, but I was greeted with the "Cloud Sync Conflict" error. I can't play the game until I choose to load either Cloud or Local files for the game, both of which are from May 8, 2021. However, I've been playing this game WAY past May 8! I can easily go into my Local and Cloud files and see my game saves that are all updated to July 22, 2021 (which is when I stopped playing because I got this error). If I open up Witcher 3 in offline mode, my game saves are up to date and I can play the game just fine. When I switch back to online, I am told that I have to load my saves from several months ago. My cloud synchronization setting has always been on.

To summarize: My Witcher 3 saves are all up to date when I check both Local and Cloud, but when I go to play the game with Steam in online mode I am being forced to revert back to progress from several months ago.

Any ideas?
