Animated backgrounds on Steam community market

Some time ago i noticed a background in my inventory that i got from a steam event was actually animated, i also noticed it was available on the steam market, this had me wondering if there were any other animated backgrounds that i could get without spending a ton of points on the shop.
After being unable to filter background types and finding quite a few skeptical people online that denied the existence of marketable animated backgrounds i decided to research and create this discussion.

I don't use this thing that much, I know items you buy using wallet credit are a way to get an item, but I thought that when an item is also on points shop, that it's the identical item - the link you shared was a shop link, not a market link, but I'm off marketplace for another week still, because valve messed up my password change last week. If you want to know about a marketplace item, you probably wanted 2 share a link to the community marketplace?

oh, well I dont know, are they a different item? The store item animates, and looks really nice, I thought they were the same, so i'm asking back, since your experience indicates community market items are perhaps a different item in some cases.

wow nice. I made a guide about this a long time ago but i only found like 3 of the backgrounds

I suspect however that it's the same item, but 3 and a half dollars is a lot to pay for a static background! So I would not want to experiment. I have seen that other animated backgrounds don't animate in the marketplace preview, so it might just be another one of those bugs Valve never fixed - which would get me raising a support ticket with therm.

Either way, very keen to know what the result is, cos they look like the same item to me. The game hub/forum itself is probably the best place to ask.
