You initiated a trade,
got a 15 day hold.
Added the authenticator,
waited 7 days
Is that correct?
The existing tradehold still stands, you just have to wait.
Any future trades will not have a hold.
If that isn't the situation you need to provide more details.
You still have to wait for the trade that is on hold, if you cancel that trade it will trigger a different trade cooldown for canceling an accepted trade.
Any future trades won't have a trade hold (at least from your side)
For trades, how it works if both parties are trading items to each other, to bypass tradehold both must have Steam mobile guard enable that is over 7 days active on the account, if both meet the requirement, then both can bypass tradehold which both have to confirm trade in the mobile app, that about it. If only one person trading, that means gifting your items to person for nothing in return, only the person sending items need Steam mobile guard to confirm trade to bypass the tradehold. Hope this helps.
Please note existing trade holds, or market holds are not affected when you enable Steam guard, or waited 7 days, if say started trade that say 15 days, then enable Steam mobile guard, and waited 7 days, the same trade you have on-going will not be affect by your new trade ability because you made it before you had Steam mobile guard and 7 day requirement, which why it remains on tradehold for the remain about of days.
