Market restriction for using a Zippay credit card

Just wondering how I can go about verifying the use of a Zip Pay temporary VISA card. I have money in my Zip Pay, and the card should still be valid for the next month, but verification fails every time. Any help?

With Zip you can have them create a temporary VISA card that you can use in/on an online store that otherwise don't accept Zip directly

That doesn't quite answer my question of what exactly a temporary credit card is, but your description hints at this card only existing for this particular transaction.

Which, obviously, explains why you can't verify it. So either have Zip create a less temporary card for you (one that lives throughout multiple transactions) or turn back to what I said earlier, namely drinking tea & waiting.

I don't know how else I would explain it.

Now that's already explaining more than you explained previously :) Now you may want to explain how exactly verification fails. My guess is that Zips VISA card doesn't support holds which are needed for verification which would mean drinking tea & waiting is your only option after all.

Isn't ZipPay - buy now pay later and is limited to specific retailers who accept the payment.

If validation is failing then the question is - does Steam even support ZipPay as a payment provider?

Maybe it is due to the temp nature of the card as not been seen as a valid payment method.

in short, most of these buy now pay later companies give you what is akin to a preloaded visa gift card/debit card, the nature of which is for security, as they only work for a single transaction. But the reason it doesn't work is the number is flagged by visa as a different card type that some retailers check for and do not accept.

If your using something like ZIP and having trouble getting past the cart section all you have to do or for me at least was when you get the virtual card step just input that on a secondary device or browser and for me, it at least worked and charge me payment due now
